Who EVER was the meanie that decided crackle finish would be cool? I have a client and I'm trying to update his built-in which was COMPLETELY painted in crackle paint. The problem is, I've tried sanding it down - I swear this stuff was made out of partial titanium - and even after sanding a door and priming - the crackle still shows through. This is the result (above) of sanding, primer and paint over the crackle. Sheesh. I'm actually working on something in a brown that looks like leather - could turn out to be cool. But in the meantime, I'm cracking up - big time!Friday, May 14, 2010
